Slavoj Žižek (esloveno IPA: [ˈslavoj ˈʒiʒɛk] ouça, Liubliana, Iugoslávia, 21 de março de 1949), muitas vezes grafado em português como Slavoj Zizek, é um filósofo esloveno, nascido na antiga Iugoslávia.

In 1985, Žižek completed a second doctorate (Doctor of Philosophy in psychoanalysis) at the University of Paris VIII under Jacques-Alain Miller and François Regnault. Zizek begins his theoretical project in Sublime Object by taking up Laclau and Mouffe's notion of 'radical democracy'.
